What is Kisspeptin (10mg)?

Kisspeptin refers to a family of neuropeptides derived from the KISS1 gene, most notably kisspeptin-54, -14, -13, and -10—all sharing a common C-terminal Arg-Phe-NH₂ motif and acting as ligands of the G-protein coupled receptor GPR54 (also known as Kiss1R) [1][2]. First identified as a metastasis suppressor, kisspeptin has since been shown in laboratory studies to be a crucial regulator of the hypothalamic–pituitary–gonadal (HPG) axis—potently stimulating gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) neurons, which triggers secretion of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) [1][3][4].

Chemical Structure of Kisspeptin (10mg)

Kisspeptin consists of the 10–amino acid sequence Tyr–Asn–Trp–Asn–Ser–Phe–Gly–Leu–Arg–Phe (YNWNSFGLRF), featuring a conserved Arg–Phe–NH₂ motif that is critical for receptor binding and biological activity. The peptide has a molecular formula of C₆₃H₈₃N₁₇O₁₄ and a molecular weight of approximately 1,302.4 Da, as confirmed by PubChem (CID 25240297). It is also referred to by several synonyms, including KISS‑1, metastin, and Kp‑10 peptide [1][2][5].

What Are the Effects of Kisspeptin (10mg)?

GnRH and Gonadotropin Release:

Central or peripheral administration of kisspeptin in rodents and humans consistently induces GnRH secretion, followed by LH and FSH elevation—a foundational mechanism in HPG axis research [3][5]. 

Puberty Onset Mechanism:

Kisspeptin–GPR54 signaling is essential for initiating puberty; genetic defects in either component result in hypogonadotropic hypogonadism in both animal models and humans [3]. 

Metastasis Suppression:
